Why do some people not want me to tell you?

Watch out - there are loonies about. I have told you that there are a number of 'Skeptic' groups in the UK. It can be a few like-minded people gathering in a pub to form a group opposed to Nick Clegg; or it can be more sinister. Already there have been cases where 'business corporations' are providing behind-the-scenes funding for such groups who meet their particular agendas.
This worrying trend of the 'Corruption of the innocents' may have nothing to do with the following but suddenly several doctors I know have had The UK Office of Trading Standards after them because 'a member of the public' has complained they are breaking the '1939 Cancer Advertising Act '. These particular Doctors have specialised in cancer treatment all their lives; but they have been warned that it is against this ancient law to offer treatments for cancer (in whole or part), or even to tell people you do! Or to tell people that something may be a treatment for cancer - even if a dozen hospitals round the world are using it! Can you believe our UK Charity has even been challenged for informing people about cancer treatments!? We had to take legal advice! Even yours trully was attacked. But I live in Thailand and this e news comes to you from the USA. And there is a European Law that allows me, as a qualified biochemist, free speech on my scientific views. Are there really people out there who don't want you to hear about treatments that might help you beat cancer? What sort of country has the UK become - the bastion of free speech no longer? I have to admit that I really don't understand why UK cancer bodies seem to ignore the contribution of stress to cancer. I understand why many of them cannot talk about pesticides or chemical toxins for fear of biting the hand that feeds them. But not a denial of stress?? 'Enlightened Medicine' How Amy beat her cancer
The contrast between American Cancer Doctors and the majority of UK Oncologists seems to grow ever wider. Only recently we received two e mails from ladies with breast cancer asking about complementary therapies.
